While in college, Jordan visited Milwaukee for her cousin’s wedding and was invited by a friend to volunteer at Kinship. She was moved by Kinship’s choice grocery model and reciprocal service approach and chose to return two years later for the Mission Internship. Jordan is originally from Nashville and spent the summer doing tree care in Cincinnati. When Jordan is not at the food center or on a recruiting trip, she enjoys reading, running, and carving archaic-looking spoons.

She found out firsthand that Kinship meant what they say: "When you give, you receive," through the many revitalizing connections she's made. McKalynn hopes to grow into a person that engages with community in a meaningful way, inside and outside of Kinship. Luciana is the Human Services Coordinator in the Stride program. Prior to being hired at Kinship, she earned a BS in Exercise and Health Sciences and worked as a physical therapy technician. She has a passion for community life as an integral part of health and wellbeing.
