Pan Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

INGREDIENTS 

  • 4 strips thick cut bacon

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil  

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, cut in halves 

  • ½ large onion, chopped 

  • ¼ tsp. salt 

  • ½ tsp. pepper

Number of Servings: 6


DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large skillet, over medium high heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel lined plate. Once bacon is cooled, roughly chop it. 

  2. In the pan that has the bacon fat, over medium high heat, add olive oil, onions and Brussels sprouts stirring occasionally. Cook until the brussels sprouts are golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. 

  3. Season with salt and pepper. 

  4. Serve and enjoy!
