Martina

Martina grew up in Riverwest and has lived here most of her life. When the pandemic hit, she wanted to give back as she realized that her neighbors needed assistance. She now comes to volunteer regularly and can’t imagine not being a part of this community.

“Food is the one thing that we all need, and we all come together around food on a regular basis. People who are coming to get food are just like everyone else, they have something to give as well. It’s their gratefulness and joy that just fills me up and keeps me filled.”
