Sambusas

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 onions, diced

  • 1 bunch of cilantros, leaves removed from stems

  • 1 jalapeno, diced

  • 1.5lb ground beef

  • Whatever vegetables you desire, like radishes

  • 1 Tbsp. Curry powder

  • 1 Tbsp. Cumin

  • ½ Tbsp. Salt

  • 10 egg roll wrappers

Number of Servings: 10


DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare all the vegetables.

  2. Brown meat with garlic, jalapenos, curry cumin, salt, and vegetables on high heat.

  3. Remove from heat and add onions and cilantro.

  4. While still warm, add egg roll wrappers. Use a mixture of flour and water to seal.

  5. Add a thin layer of cooking oil on the outside to help with browning.

  6. Fry or bake in oven at 425 degrees until brown.

  7. Serve alone, or with your favorite dipping sauce!
